1. Family - I think that this will always be my #1 family. I love my family. I love the closeness you get from your family. Families accept your for who you are and they give unconditional love. In a good family, you will look out for each other, and be there until the end.
2. Honesty - I think that it is important to be honest and to own up to your mistakes. Nobody is perfect and I expect to get honest answers. It is important to me in a career because I want to stand behind what I am doing.
3. Trustworthy - I want to build a reputation of being trustworthy. I do not want to sell you a product that you feel pressured into buying. If you believe in my product I want you to know that you can expect the best. In my family this means that you can trust that what I am doing is admirable. My intentions are good.
4. Faithfulness - I expect that my husband be faithful to me and I to him. Too many people are publicly unfaithful and then make excuses.
5. Dedication - This works for both home and work. I want to be a dedicated employee so that my employers can trust me. I also want to be dedicated to my family so that they know they can rely and depend on me.
6. Faith - Like many others, my family has faith in a higher power and this is important to me. It gives me a sense of belonging and an understanding to my purpose in life.
7. Compassion - This is very important to me, because everyone needs compassion at one point. I love to help people and to do that you have to have compassion about where they have been where they came from and who they are. Children also need compassion when things do not go their way.
8. Charity - I think that it is one of the most important things we can do here on earth is give back when we can. It is important to teach children that other people do not have very much. Teach them the feeling of giving. I think it is important for companies to give back to the communities that make them who they are.
9. Motivation - It is important to stay motivated. The best work comes from motivated people. Do the job until it is done and do it correctly. At home we motivate with monetary as well ad tangable items. This teaches them how to work in the real world. Also to expect the best from your employees you have to give them reason to give you their best.
10. Diversity - My family is very diverse and I think that it is important to incororate that into your everyday life. Children need to understand that there are other people like them and that they are not like everyone else. Employers need to understand that your race, sex or gender etc does not determine the amount of hard work you will receive.
